InvisibleTilt® Control Options
AquaShield™ features InvisibleTilt®, Norman’s hidden tilt system. An integrated gear mechanism operates the louvers without a visible front tilt rod, creating clean lines across the shutter panel.
Choose InvisibleTilt® with Split Tilt for independent adjustment of the upper and lower louver sections. This gives you greater flexibility to manage light and privacy within the same window.
Louver Sizes
Choose from four louver sizes:
- 2½ inches
- 3 inches
- 3½ inches
- 4½ inches
Smaller louvers create a more closely spaced appearance. Larger louvers offer wider openings between the slats for a more open view. We will help you compare the proportions and clearance requirements for your windows.
Frame and Mounting Options
Complete your shutters with a frame that complements your window and surrounding trim. AquaShield™ offers decorative Z and Deco frames, understated L frames, a hang strip, and direct-mount options.
Inside- and outside-mount configurations are available. The appropriate frame depends on the opening, window depth, existing trim and operating hardware. Professional measurement helps establish the correct fit and clearance.
Easy to Maintain
Keep your AquaShield™ shutters looking their best with simple routine cleaning. Use a cotton cloth to remove dust and surface marks, dampening it with water when needed.
