Product Description

Thoughtfully engineered for strength and lasting performance, Woodlore® Plus combines lightweight ABS louvers with wood composite frames and rails. The impact-resistant louver material is also used in demanding applications such as automotive parts and appliances.

Thoughtful engineering extends to the shutter’s operation. Available InvisibleTilt® controls use an integrated gear system to adjust the louvers smoothly without a visible front tilt rod, creating clean lines across each panel.

Panels up to 36 inches wide create more expansive views with fewer divisions across the window. Each shutter is custom-built for its opening, with the finish, louver size, frame and controls selected to bring your design together.

Choose the appearance and operation that suit your space with four manual control options:

InvisibleTilt®: A hidden gear system adjusts the louvers without a visible front tilt rod, creating clean lines across the panel.
InvisibleTilt® with Split Tilt: Adjust the upper and lower louver sections independently to welcome daylight while maintaining privacy.
Standard Tilt: A traditional front tilt rod connects the louvers for coordinated adjustment.
Offset Tilt: A front tilt rod positioned toward the side of the panel offers a different look.

PerfectTilt™ G4 Motorization

Shape the light throughout your home with optional PerfectTilt™ G4 motorization. Adjust your shutter louvers using a remote or compatible iPhone or iPad, controlling an individual panel, a room or multiple shutters. Schedule adjustments throughout the day to suit your routine. An integrated solar panel helps extend the time between charges.

Louver Sizes

Tailor the proportions of your shutters with five louver sizes:

1⅞ inches
2½ inches
3 inches
3½ inches
4½ inches

Smaller louvers create a closely spaced, traditional appearance. Larger louvers offer wider openings between the slats for a more expansive view. Your window dimensions and available clearance help determine the right size.

Frame and Mounting Options

Complete the look with decorative Z and Deco frames, understated L frames, a hang strip or a direct-mount configuration. Inside- and outside-mount options are available.

Your frame selection shapes the finished appearance of the shutters and their relationship to the window opening. Window depth, existing trim, handles and surrounding surfaces guide the appropriate profile and mounting method.

Bi-fold Panels and Specialty Shapes

Open up the view with Bi-fold 180™ shutters. The panels fold neatly away, providing access through patio doors.

Cleaning and Care

Use a cotton cloth dampened with water to remove dust and surface marks. Clean the louvers in both their open and closed positions to reach each surface. Do not immerse the shutters in water or use abrasive chemical solvents. Norman does not recommend ultrasonic cleaning.

Manufacturer Information and Warranty

Norman’s lifetime warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, subject to its exclusions. Motorized components carry a five-year warranty; batteries are excluded. Shipping, measurement and installation labour, and trip charges are also excluded.
