Combi blinds/shades, also known as zebra shades, uses dual layers of horizontal fabric segments alternating between sheer and semi-opaque or opaque fabrics. Shade can be set to open where vanes between the two layers are aligned or closed to cover the sheer portion. Or they can be complete rolled up into the headrail. Provide view-through and visual privacy. Shades block up to 99% of UV rays when closed.
Combi Camilla room darkening achieves room darkening with triple fabric layers with the middle layer being black. The solid band for the 2 light colours come in a solid single tone look, while the remaining 3 colours have a two-tone horizontal textured look. The sheer band has thin horizontal thread lines. The shade uses dual fabric layers with alternating bands of opaque 4 inches tall fabric and the 2.75 inches tall sheer fabric. Wider/taller bands results in less repeats and wider sheer view area than standard combi or zebra shades.
Room darkening combi/zebra shades block out between 60 to 80% of outside light in its closed setting. Darker colours tends to block more light. It makes it a good solution for bedroom and TV/movie rooms where room darkening is sometime required.
